Another great week!!

This week has been great. We invited a ton of people to be baptized, nobody really wanted to, but that´s okay, we are doing our part.

That is funny that my name was in the program on Sunday. I have not started preparing my homecoming talk, I figure I´ll worry about that when I get home. I´ve got a lot of ideas and stories floating around in my head, but I´ll get them all sorted out when I get back.

We had Stake Conference this week, and it was great. I was able to listen to President and Hermana Deere speak, and then an Area 70. It was super powerful, and an overall great conference. The 70 talked about the true meaning of enduring to the end and the importance of our personal callings. He told the story of Only a Stonecutter about John Moyle, and it was super great.

Nothing much else to report, and I don´t know what else to say. See ya in a week?

The church is true.

What kind of example are you?

Well, another week has come and gone. It´s been a good week. We invited two people to baptism, and they accepted. Antonio for the 1st of March, and Kingsley for the 22nd of March. You could say things are going well.

It was great to be in Fuengirola with all the District Leaders of the mission. I saw a ton of my old comps, and a lot of old mission friends. It was great to get together, and talk about experiences and lessons learned over the past two years. Then we were priveledged to hear President Deere talk about leadership principles in terms of church leadership positions. It was great to see what things I can do better right now, and what habits I can develop to try and lead out in the years to come, no matter where I might be.

We have stake conference next week in Sevilla (or Sevile for all you gringos) and hopefully we will be there next monday for Pday to see the Cathedral and the Plaza de España and the Plaza de Toros. I´m excited.

More than anything though, I am super excited to go the Temple. I have been studying a little bit in The Pearl of Great Price this week, and have just been impressed with how wonderful the verses are that we find there. It is short and sweet, but it is powerful.

I love you all, and just want to leave you with the invitation to think about what kind of example you are giving to those who surround you.

Costco pizza and waffles!!!

Well, it´s been quite the week. It rained quite a bit and that was fun, and we got to work in the rain. I love the rain, but it kind of gets old once your socks get wet and you´ve been walking in it for hours on end, but such is life and I didn´t get sick so I don´t have much to complain about.

We had Zone meeting on Friday, and we ate Costco pizza!!! It was awesome. Afterwards I was on intercambios with the Zone Leaders, and we ate waffles for breakfast. I just about died. I forgot how much I love waffles and peanutbutter. We taught some super good lessons as well, and had some great conversations about the mish and about life lessons learned, but the waffles were definetely the highlight.

Sounds like stake conference was fun. We have stake conference in Sevilla in 2 weeks, and I am excited to go to it.Tomorrow, I will be going to Fuengirola for a District Leader training, and a big majority of my old comps will be there (Elder Milius, Simon, Landinez, Lindley, Miranda and I think even Elder Clark will be there) so it will be fun to see them all one last time before I leave, and then also to hear the messages President and his Asistants have will be great as well.

Well, have a great week, and we will talk to ya´ll soon.

Another Great Birthday!!

Wow what a week! Well, I don´t have much time at all. But I just want to let you know that the Lord blessed us a lot this week. I don´t remember if I told you about our diamond day, but we basically set aside an entire day to go contact and find people. Our goal was to find 2015 people, we found 2497. Personally, I was with an elder named Elder Whitworth, and we found 2. Not the most succesful day, but we talked with a ton of people. However the Lord saw our efforts, and though we were not rewarded in the moment we wanted to, the Lord blessed us to find 7 new investigators this week. For me it was a miracle, as most of them were just handed to us.

I had a good birthday. I didn´t tell anybody about it, so I didn´t have to deal with the whole, "It´s your bday we have to do something" cause I did just what I wanted to do, I went out and worked, and we found 4 news that day so that was my bday present from Jesus. Hermana Deere, did call me and I talked to her for a minute and that was nice. As far as I´m concerned it was the best bday ever.

The superbowl is mainly a USA thing, I´m glad the Patriots won (Shout out to Hna Hansen who will probably never see this-she´s a sister missionary who went home a month ago and is a huge patriots fan). Only the latinos really new about it. The big game yesterday was Barcelona and Villareal. Barcelona won 3-2 if anyone was wondering, and I was rooting for them.

Anyway, this week I´m going to sevilla for zone meeting, interviews with President and an Intercambio with the Zone Leaders. I´m excited for all that, and I really want to get a picture of where they filmed Stars Wars 1 there. We are working on finding, teaching and baptizing "cause that´s what we do in the Spain Málaga mission, and that´s what I´m gonna do" (The District II, episode 3).

Love you all!!
